The Asheville Police Department is made up of 241 sworn and non-sworn men and women. The department also utilizes the strengths, experiences and specialties of more than 150 volunteers. The Asheville Police Department is a nationally accredited police department through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
Class is held at the Buncombe County Emergency Training Center in the Apparatus Building, Classroom A. After turning onto Canoe Ln. make the first left onto Memorial Dr. You will see where to park at that point.
