Detective Grimes began his career with the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office in 2008. Detective Grimes became a Bike Safe Assessor in August of 2017. He is currently the Sergeant for the Criminal Investigations Division and serves as a motor officer in addition to his regular duties.
