Adam joined the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in 2008 as part of the 154th Recruit Class. After 10 years on patrol in the Steele Creek Division he was promoted to sergeant and was assigned to the Freedom Division as a patrol supervisor in June 2018. In December 2019, Adam was assigned as the Motorcycle Unit sergeant.
Adam attended a MSF course in 2012 and began his riding career. He attended Basic Motor Officer School and BikeSafe NC in 2020.
