Master Police Officer Austin Schoonmaker has been employed by the Greensboro Police Department since May of 2012. Officer Schoonmaker is currently assigned to the Special Operations Division, and completed the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Motorcycle Operators course in June of 2022.
Officer Schoonmaker has been riding motorcycles since the age of 4, and has owned and rode just about every type of both on and off road motorcycle on the market. Officer Schoonmaker currently rides a 2020 Harley Davidson Police Edition Electra Glide at his current assignment.
