Officer Lefevers began his career with the Gastonia Police Department in 2012 and was assigned to the department's Motor Unit in 2018. He is a certified Traffic Crash Reconstructionist and Motorcycle Crash Reconstructionist. In 2021 he completed the 80 hour NC State Highway Patrol Basic Motor Officer School. He has been riding motorcycles since 2012.
