Master Police Officer Matthew Leahey has been employed by the Greensboro Police Department since April, 2007. He has been assigned to the Greensboro Police Department, Special Operations Division, Motor Unit and completed the NC State Highway Patrol Police Motorcycle Operators course in August of 2016. Officer Leahey is also a General Instructor, Taser instructor, and a specialized instructor in Subject Control and Arrest Techniques.
Officer Leahey has been riding motorcycles for several years, which allowed him to develop his skills and love for riding.
Officer Leahey currently rides a 2020 police edition Harley Davidson, Electra Glide.
