Senior Officer Preston grew up in a small town where he enjoyed riding atv's and motorcycles. In 2009 he graduated BLET from Central Carolina and began his journey in the Law Enforcement career. Officer Preston has served Cary Police department as an FTO, accident reconstructions, attended NC SHP Motor school in 2017 where he then became a Motor Officer shortly after, and became Cary Police Departments first Motor Officer Instructor in 2022, after attending the IPTM Motor school in Florida. In 2023 Officer Preston made the decision to join the Holly Springs Police Department. He currently rides a 2019 Harley Davidson Electra Glide with Holly Springs Police Department and is assigned to their Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Unit.
