Officer Keith Kitcher began his law enforcement career in 1995 as a reserve deputy for Morrow County Sheriff Department in Morrow County Oregon. He later moved to California where he worked for the City of Greenfield from 2001-2005. There he began in patrol, then served as a School Resource Officer, K-9 handler, and worked gangs and drugs. While employed by Greenfield, he also ran the Police Explorer Cadet Program. In 2005 he lateraled over to work for the City of Ceres, Ca. There he began in patrol and later served as a K-9 handler, School Resource Officer and DRE (Drug Recognition Expert). He spent the last seven years of his career there working as a Motor Officer assigned to the Traffic Unit. In 2016 he retired and moved to North Carolina. Since then, he has been employed by NC State University where he began in patrol and currently works as a Motor Officer assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit.
