Ofc. Ron Robertson
Officer Ron Robertson began riding motorcycles at the age of 10. He served four years active duty in the US Air Force in the Security Police career field. Officer Robertson started his civilian law enforcement career in 1994 with the Winston Salem Police Department. During this time he continued serving in the US Air Force Reserve. In 2008 Officer Robertson was assigned to the WSPD Traffic Enforcement Unit as a Motorcycle Officer. He began his riding career on a 2005 BMW 1150RT Police Motorcycle. Officer Robertson has attended the Basic Police Motorcycle School hosted by GTCC. In 2012 Officer Robertson was assigned the new 2012 Police Kawasaki Concours14. Officer Robertson served as the Assistant Motorcycle Safety Coordinator for the 440th SFS and 916th SFS during his USAFR career. In March of 2017 he retired from the USAFR.
