Officer Elliott has been in law enforcement since 2000. Worked at a Sheriff's office in Florida for 7 years and three of those years he was assigned to the Traffic Div. In 2009 he was hired by the Burlington Police Dept. He is currently assigned to the Traffic Div and has been riding the motorcycle for the agency since November 2012. He completed 80 hrs of Basic Police Motorcycle training, 80 hrs Police Motorcycle Instructor. He has received certification in Vehicle Crash Reconstruction, as well as Pedestrian and Motorcycle Crash Reconstruction. He has obtained his Traffic Enforcement Certification through GTCC for attending over 540 hours of traffic enforcement/ crash courses offered by the state. He is a Crash Data Retrieval technician / analyst meaning he can download vehicle's "black boxes" to obtain information regarding vehicles telemetry.
