Deputy Sellers joined the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office in September of 2014 and was assigned to the Detention Center as a part time Deputy. On November 10, 2014 Deputy Sellers was offered a full time Deputy Position. Deputy Sellers was assigned to Patrol division in the beginning of 2016. During his time in the Patrol division Deputy Sellers obtained several certifications, to include: Field Training Officer (FTO), Standardized Field Sobriety Training (SFST), Intox (Chemical Analyst), RADAR and LiDAR. Deputy Sellers was assigned to the Patrol division from 2016 to December 2023 when he was assigned to the Special Operations Unit Traffic Team. While assigned to the Traffic Unit Deputy Sellers obtained his Basic Motor Officer certification in March of 2024.
