Assistant Chief Wright began riding motorcycles in 2003. In 2009 he attended Motor Officer School with the North Carolina Highway Patrol where he obtained his Police Motor Officer Certification. A/C Wright has been with the department since 2008 and is currently commands the Operations Bureau. He is also a specialized driving instructor.
