Officer Felix Monterrosa began his career with the Greenville Police Department in November 1998. Officer Monterrosa served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal deployed with the 24th MEU in the Mediterranean Sea prior to joining Greenville Police. Officer Monterrosa served in the Field Operations Bureau as a Field Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Team Officer and as a General Instructor. While in the Special Operation Bureau, Officer Monterrosa served on the Impact Team as a Street Level Narcotics Officer and on the Traffic Safety Unit as a Motor Officer. Officer Monterrosa currently is a School Resource Officer but continues to assist with Bike Safe NC and other events as a Motor Officer. Officer Monterrosa enjoys riding his motorcycle in his free time and is the President of Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Chapter NCVIII.
