Officer John Brown began riding motorcycles in 2020. Officer Brown has been with the Winston-Salem Police Department since 2014. Officer Brown joined the WSPD Motor Unit in September of 2022 and is currently assigned a 2019 BMW police motorcycle. Officer Brown completed the 80 hour Basic Police Motorcycle Operator Course hosted by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. When not at work, Officer Brown enjoys spending time with his family and riding his personal motorcycle.
